If you wish to be baptised by immersion at Freedom House Church Manchester, please read the policy below carefully. It outlines who this process is for, the steps to follow, and how the church will support you in your preparation.

Steps To Request Baptism:
1. Complete the online registration form below and clearly explain your reasons for requesting baptism.

2. Once registered, you will be invited to attend a Sunday service at Freedom House Church Manchester (5 Premiere Road, M8 8HH, Manchester) to discuss your request with the senior pastor after the meeting. Sunday services take place from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.

3. If your request is approved, the senior pastor will confirm an available date for the baptism. Please allow for a period of at least four weeks before the ceremony.

During the four weeks leading up to the baptism, we encourage you to attend services regularly, especially if you are not yet a regular member of Freedom House Church Manchester or have never visited before. Attending at least three or four Sunday services allows church leaders to get to know you, provide appropriate pastoral support, and confirm that you are ready for baptism.

You must also complete baptismal training, consisting of at least four teaching sessions. This training covers salvation, becoming a child of God, the biblical foundations of baptism by immersion, and the meaning and significance of baptism. Before the ceremony, you will need to have grasped these teachings and fully understood the significance of baptism by immersion in your journey toward salvation.

At Freedom House Church Manchester, baptism by immersion is offered to candidates free of charge, including the baptism certificate (issued after the ceremony).
