The story of our church begins when our pastor, Prophet Nono Mbingu, decided to obey God's voice and fulfill His will by building the church according to the pattern revealed by the Lord.

 

Here's how it all started:

After resigning from his position as associate pastor at Restoration Church in Manchester, where he had ministered for about seven years, Prophet Nono Mbingu went through a long period of isolation in Manchester, spending nearly four years alone with God. During this time of reflection and solitude, God began to speak to him through visions, dreams, and audible voices, inviting him to establish a church in Manchester.

 

We know that certain circumstances led him to build this church in Manchester, and we believe that God Himself orchestrated these circumstances to compel this man of God to build what God had secretly been asking of him for a long time, but which he had refused to do for years.

 

Finally, starting in 2018, he realized he had become like the prophet Jonah, who had wanted to flee from his divine mission. The prophet agreed to fulfill God's will, but under certain conditions. He prayed to God, saying, "I want a church with the bare minimum to begin with."

 

One day, while praying alone in his room, a voice spoke to him clearly: "My servant, the money you asked for to found my church, I have already given it to you. Arise and build my church." After finishing his prayer, he understood that God was referring to the money in his personal bank account and the donations from those whom God had inspired to invest in this project. This is how he found the courage to embark on the creation of Freedom House Church Manchester.
