FREEDOM HOUSE CHURCH MANCHESTER
FREEDOM HAND IS READY TO HELP YOU
We are a church community and charitable organisation that now supports and provides services to vulnerable people in our local community who are experiencing the challenges and hardships resulting from the COVID-19 crisis.
We help and support vulnerable people such as refugees, asylum seekers, the homeless, the elderly and low income families, who are facing very serious financial difficulties or who are most affected by the Covid-19 crisis in our local community. And also people who suffer from depression or anxiety, emotional issues, financial hardship and loneliness caused by the Covid-19 crisis and other social issues.
YOU ARE OUR PRIORITY:
Our mission is to bring people together and improve the health and well-being of many vulnerable people in our local community.
So, as a church community and charity, we know that since the Covid-19 crisis many people have lost family members in our local community. And some are already facing great challenges in their regular lives such as depression, anxiety, emotional worries and loneliness - And others are familiar with the financial hardships resulting from the COVID-19 crisis and some of them are in a very difficult and urgent situation they need our help.
We also know that some people do not have access to government benefits because of their immigration status and that they live very difficult lives, so people like refugees and asylum seekers and others like the homeless who do not have family members to help them during this difficult time.
This is why we provide support and services to these vulnerable people such as refugees and asylum seekers, the homeless, low income families and the elderly, as they are most affected by the crisis of Covid-19 in our local community.
Our priority during this period is therefore to help people affected by this pandemic (Covid-19 crisis) in our local community. So we try to work hard to bring the community together by showing the people around us that they are not alone in these difficult times.

WE ARE THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND YOUR PROBLEM VERY WELL THAN OTHERS:
As a community and church, we understand that the fact that major changes in life often trigger loneliness and that these changes can come from: stopping work or losing a job, discovering health problems , loss of someone you love, divorce and also money worries is stressful and can have a negative impact on your mental health.
We also know that the coronavirus epidemic that is hitting our community today is making some people in our local community even more lonely. And people already isolated because of this disease become more vulnerable than regularly.
We also understand the lack of money and the lack of other supports during this time. May, therefore, make it more difficult for people who have no one to help them because they have no friends or family to support them, and help them during this time. And also because they do not have access to all the benefits of the government.
People like refugees and asylum seekers, the homeless, the elderly and other low-income families therefore need more help. And we try to help them as much as possible. Because we believe that as a community, if we do not react quickly, the emotional consequences of these experiences can have more impact on our local community.
WE NEED TO COME BACK TOGETHER BECAUSE WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER THAN ALONE:
