In any case, it becomes urgent to worry about stress if the symptoms begin to affect daily life. So what to do in times of stress, here are the 13 practical and daily techniques and strategies to manage chronic stress.

1. PLAN YOUR DAYS:

A large part of stress is caused or amplified by lack of organization and poor use of time, so to avoid a lot of stress, get into the habit of having your daily to-do list to help you use your time efficiently and feel more in control of everything.

When we plan the daily use of our time, let us not forget to consider God as the One who gives us the opportunities, abilities, talents, resources and time necessary to accomplish what we need. For it is written: "Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will succeed" (Proverbs 16:3).

2. EAT BALANCED:

Take the time to eat regularly, Eat healthy, you should know that what you eat and drink can have an impact on your health. So try to have a balanced diet and eat at specific times. Drink plenty of water, Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables if you can.

The Bible invites us to nourish our body well. And the act of eating meets a need:

to give energy to the body. Several passages in the Bible show that heroes were strengthened by food (for example, the prophet Elijah was given a cake by an angel to walk for 40 days and 40 nights. And we all experience this: If I’m tired, I’m less likely to exercise and even less motivated to pray. Because being healthy means being physically, emotionally, and spiritually healthy.

1 KINGS 19:6-8

6 And he looked around, and saw bread baked on hot coals, and a pitcher of water by his head. So he ate and drank, and lay down again. 7 Then the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Get up and eat; for the journey is too great for you. 8 And he got up, and ate and drank, and was strengthened by the food. And he walked forty days and forty nights, until he came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

EPHESIANS 5:29

For no man ever hated his own flesh: but ate and drank, and ate and drinking, and enjoyed it, even as Christ also enjoyed it for the church.

3. GET ENOUGH SLEEP:

Adequate sleep is very important for the body and mind.

Sleep is a great restorative and a great source of energy renewal, it allows your brain to rest, relax and regenerate your body, it is an effective remedy that can help reverse the effects of stress and make you feel refreshed and improve your mood, emotions and emotional health.

But be careful not to sleep too much, because the Bible says: "Love not sleep, lest you come to poverty Proverbs 20:13.

SOME TIPS FOR A GOOD SLEEP:

Be consistent. Go to bed at the same time every night and get up at the same time every morning, including weekends.

Second, make your sleeping space quiet, soft, dark, relaxing and at as comfortable a temperature as possible. If you have trouble falling asleep, it is important to limit the use of electronic devices, such as television, computer and smartphone, before going to bed.

Avoid large meals, caffeine and alcohol before going to bed. Exercising and being physically active during the day can help you fall asleep more easily at night.

4.EXERCISE:

Exercise daily and do other recreational activities. Regular daily exercise can help reduce stress. This can be walking, but it can also be more intense exercise.

5. AVOID ISOLATION:

Seek to live in community to benefit from the support of others in the community, focus on what shows you love, makes you smile, what hurts you and increases your stress run away from these categories of people especially avoid those whose phone does not answer.

Stay in touch with your family and friends and share your worries and feelings with people you trust. Being in contact with others can improve your mood and help you feel less stressed.

CAUTION:

Do not confuse isolation with loneliness. Isolation refers to being voluntarily or involuntarily detached from one's family, community or people of one's race. It is a physical separation of a person from other people of his race, family or community. While loneliness is the perception or feeling of being alone. Loneliness is above all a state of mind because one can feel alone even when surrounded by many people. Likewise, one can live alone without feeling isolated, provided one has a solid social network.

The difference between the two: isolation kills by locking us up and cutting us off from reality, but solitude edifies us and renews our strength. Because often God himself leads us into solitude to speak to us, edify us and form us before sending us on a mission.

Many leaders, men of God and especially prophets live in solitude without being helped by anyone because God wants them to learn not to depend on the community or family but to learn to depend on Him alone. The solidity and often the strength of those who have a great vocation and a great destiny because it is there that God shapes them to become useful to others.

Limit the time you spend following bad news Spending too much time following bad news on television and social media can increase stress. Limit the time you spend on it because it can increase your stress.

WHAT IS CONFLICT? A conflict is a disagreement or argument about something. If two people or groups are in conflict, they have had a disagreement or argument and have not reached an agreement. A conflict is a confrontation between two or more people who have different ideas or opinions and where the expectations of one are often in opposition to those of the other.

Conflict, whether at work, in your family, at home, in your relationship or in your community, is one of the greatest sources of stress. To feel better, you need to learn how to negotiate conflict, which will allow you to relieve the pressure on your brain.

When you negotiate conflict and forgive those who have hurt you, you will feel a great sense of relief. A sense of peace and joy will return to your heart. The agitation, anger, restlessness, and even negative resentment that fuel the pressure of stress in your brain will diminish and you will feel healed.

Most of the things you do to overcome stress are just basic things, and they are not always easy to respect especially when life puts a lot of pressure on you. That is why you need the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ to help you eliminate more stress from your life. Remember that in your healing process, the presence of the Lord will always make you feel better because stress is a psychosomatic illness, that is, an illness of the mind that affects your body, your emotions and your daily life.

You must learn to pray regularly and read your Bible. In my experience, people who love to pray a lot feel better faster than others. Because in my opinion, prayer is a good remedy for stress.

Prayer can help reduce stress and anxiety, providing a quiet, reflective time that helps you cope with daily challenges. It promotes a sense of connection with GOD that can improve your well-being.

Prayer has been scientifically shown to directly lower your heart rate, reduce muscle tension, and slow your breathing rate (McCullough, 1995). Clinical studies have also suggested that prayer can also contribute to a sense of tranquility by changing brain chemistry and structure (Newberg & Waldman, 2009).

WHAT PRAYER FOR STRESS:

Lord Jesus, free me from fear, complaints, impatience and worry. "Yes, free me from all anxiety I want to live in peace, confidence and assurance from now on, praising you without ceasing, my God and my salvation. I thank you, my God, for hearing my prayer in the name of JESUS CHRIST Amen.
