WHAT OUR GOD LOOKS LIKE?
Our Creator God is so superior, great and powerful that we cannot even imagine what He looks like. People always sit and imagine what God looks like, but the bad news is that the human brain does not have the capacity to imagine God in His greatness, height, power, reign, glory and form .
Some have tried to imagine God as an old man sitting on a white or golden throne with long white hair.... But believe me, he is far from this image that we sometimes imagine in our heads.
It is written in the book Isaiah: (Isaiah 40:25)
“To whom will you compare me, that I may be like him? Said the Saint.
WHAT KIND OF BODY DOES GOD HAVE?
It is impossible to describe what kind of body God has, the only information we found in the Bible "God is a spiritual being" who does not have a physical body, that is, God is Spirit.
JOHN 4:24
“God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
WHY CAN’T WE SEE GOD?
Due to the supernatural and spiritual divine nature, a human being's natural sense cannot enable him to perceive God. Because man's physical senses are limited.
According to the book of 1 TIMOTHY 1:17 The apostle teaches us one of the natures of God, teaching us that God is invisible, invisibility is part of his nature towards men. and the apostle Paul confirms in 1 TIMOTHY 6:16 that God dwells in a light inaccessible to men, which no one can see. So no one can see God because God is invisible.

NO ONE HAS EVER SEEN GOD:
The Bible tells us that no one has ever seen God. This is because we are naturally sinners, our current human nature does not allow us to see God because we live in a corruptible and borderline body.

MOSES ASKS GOD TO SEE HIS FACE:
In the book of EXODUS 33:19-20 “Moses said to God “let me see your face”. Although Moses was a highly spiritual man, God's response will be emphatic "You will not be able to see my face, because man cannot see me and live."

19 Moses said, Show me your glory! 20The LORD said, You will not be able to see my face, for no man can see me and live.
Mathematically, God did not give Moses a clear reason why the man who dares to see his face will die. But from my understanding I understand that even if God himself decides to do this favor to a man to see his face. But the nature of the human being is not capable of supporting the level of holiness and glory that God exudes on his face and this can immediately cause the death of the person.
THE APOSTLE JOHN FALLS BEFORE AN ANGEL:
The example of the Apostle John falling to his knees before an angel in the book of Revelation because of the glory and authority that this angel exudes clearly demonstrates the assumption that man cannot survive s he sees God.

And I fell at his feet to worship him; but he said to me: Be careful not to do it! I am your fellow servant, and that of your brothers who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. -For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
ATTENTION: There is a category of angels who have very great authority, and we see in the Bible the apostle John falling to the ground in front of the angel to worship him because of the authority that this angel exudes. And if an apostle like John falls to the ground before an angel, how much more can he who sees God survive? that is why whoever sees God will die because God releases strong authority millions of times more than an angel.

DID ADAM AND EVE HAVE THE SUPERNATURAL ABILITIES TO SEE GOD?
According to the Bible, we have no confirmation that man had the supernatural ability to see God face to face, because since the beginning of creation, God remains a mystery, the nature and form of God remains an unfathomable mystery. for living beings.
At least we see clearly that God had a special relationship with man, proof that he came every evening to visit him and communicate with him. We clearly see in GENESIS3:8 Adam and Eve they were able to clearly distinguish the voice of God in the Garden of Eden.

WHY DOES GOD HIDE AND MAKE HIMSELF INVISIBLE?
God likes to hide because he wants man to seek his face to reveal himself in us, and when he reveals himself, he does not reveal himself in his spiritual form because his spiritual form will remain a mystery but rather in his power and his glory so that his name may be glorified among the nations.
ANGELS CAN SEE AND TALK WITH GOD:
However, there are exceptional creatures who can see God and even speak to him face to face. Who is it ? The Bible calls them angels.
They are numerous and innumerable. They are spirits serving God, superhuman creatures who live in heaven with God. Because of their holy, pure and spiritual nature, they can access the throne of God, see and speak with God.
Jesus Christ declared in MATTHEW 18:10 that angels continually see the face of God in heaven.

“See that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.”
CAUTION: However, it is unclear whether all angels have the ability to see and communicate with God or whether this is reserved only for a category of angels in heaven. But what is certain in Jesus' statement is that angels have the ability to see the face of God.
WE WILL SEE GOD IN HEAVEN:
The word of God has promised us that we will see God in heaven, because there we will be transformed into another body and we will be like him, because to see God we must be like him (to be like him does not mean to become God but to have the same nature as God.) and in heaven we will have the same body as him, that is to say the same nature as God, which will allow us to see him as he is and to communicate with him face to face. face.
