WHAT IS WATER BAPTISM?

At Freedom House Church Manchester, we believe that baptism by immersion is a public celebration of the spiritual transformation that takes place within you when you are born again.

In Christianity, water baptism is an outward expression of faith in Jesus Christ and an important act of obedience for every believer. It is a key step in the journey toward salvation, publicly affirming your identity as a child of God.

From a biblical perspective, baptism by immersion represents the death of the believer's old life—marked by slavery to sin—and the beginning of a new life in Christ. It also symbolizes the cleansing of past sins and entry into the new birth: a divine and eternal life with God (John 3:3-21; Acts 8:27-39; Romans 6:4; Acts 2:38).

Baptism by immersion is also a public declaration of your faith and commitment to Jesus Christ. It allows you to openly affirm your decision to follow Him and acknowledge Him as Lord and Savior.

DON'T FORGET!!!

Everyone is welcome at this special ceremony.
