How to fight the devil and his kingdom:

First of all, it should be noted that the devil is not a human being, he is a spirit. It is this spirit to operate in our world it needs a human body this is the reason why the wicked and the wizards exist because they are the ones who carry satant on this earth.

Second Because the devil is spirit to fight him, we can only fight him in spirit and not in the flesh. This means that our war is a spiritual war and not a physical war.

Thirdly because the war is spiritual you must use spiritual weapons to fight the devil and what are his weapons?

(Ephesians 6:11-18)

11 Put on all the armor of God, so that you can stand firm against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against authorities, against the rulers of this world of darkness, against wicked spirits in heavenly places.

13 Wherefore, take all the armor of God, that you may resist in the evil day, and stand firm after you have overcome all.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth; put on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 put as a shoe on your feet the zeal which gives the gospel of peace;

16 take above all this the shield of faith, with which you can quench all the fiery darts of the evil one;

17 Take also the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 Make at all times by the Spirit all kinds of prayers and supplications. Watch over this with all perseverance, and pray for all the saints.

1) The Bible begins by advising us to put on spiritual armor.

2The bible clearly gives us the importance of this spiritual armor and why we must wear it in our lives.

3)There are 4 reasons mentioned in this scripture why we should wear it:

a) Because we are wrestling not against flesh and blood, but against the whole kingdom of the devil.

b) So that you can resist the wiles of the devil.

(the wiles mean a trick or scheme intended to entrap or deceive)

c) To resist the bad day or a devil day also a day of temptation.

d) Stand firm after overcoming all the troubles of the devil or winning the devil.

4)The Bible gives us the classification and categories of demons and spirits that war against us:

a) Principalities: They are like the boss of the devil's kingdom

b)The rulers:What carries out the orders of the Devil bosses

c) The rulers of the darkness of this age: The spirits who give laws to our planet

d) The wicked spirits in the heavenly places: Carry out the orders of the rulers of darkness of this age

5)The bible gives us strategies how we can fight his spirits and one of the strategies given in this bible verse is that you must stand up. You have to get up because you can't fight your enemies while sleeping.

b) The second strategy is that you must have the truth as a belt around your loins.

c)Third strategies: Put on the breastplate of righteousness; (Righteousness means: the quality of being morally right or justifiable.)

d)Fourth strategy: Put like a shoe on your feet the zeal which gives the gospel of peace; It means you have to preach the gospel to the pagans or evangelism people bring them to God.

This is because God always defends people who work for him, especially people who have saved the souls of others by bringing them back to God.

e) Fifth strategies: Take above all the shield of faith: It's because faith is the key to winning spiritual battles and you can't win the devil if you don't have faith.

f) Sixth Strategy: Also take the Helmet of Salvation

(Helmet means: a hard or padded protective hat, various types of which are worn by soldiers, police officers, firefighters, motorcyclists, athletes, and others.)

It means you have to make sure that you are saved and that you are born again and that you are truly a child of God. And the devil and his demons can recognise by looking at you in the head that you are truly a true child of God.

g)7th strategies:The sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.Knowing the word of God will help you fight the devil and win spiritual battles. That why you need have time everyday to read and learn your bible and pray with the word of God it will make your prayer powerfuly.

h) The 8th strategy is humility: The bible said : (James 4:7)

So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

You must know that you cannot fight the devil if you are arrogant: because the devil knows it, God resists arrogant people and he gives grace to humble people.

I)The 9th strategy is resistance: it is written: Resist the devil and he will flee far from you.

You must learn to resist the devil, be strong in your mind and spirit to resist them. If you resist them, they will run away from you.

1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has come upon you that has not been human, and God, who is faithful, will not permit you to be tempted beyond your strength; but with the temptation he will also prepare the way out of it, so that you can endure it.

1 Peter 3:14

Besides, when you would suffer for justice, you would be happy. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled;

1 Peter 5:6-10

6Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; 7And cast all your cares on him, for he himself takes care of you. 8Be sober, watchful. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he will devour. 9Resist him with firm faith, knowing that the same sufferings are imposed on your brothers in the world.

10The God of all grace, who called you in Christ Jesus to his eternal glory, after you have suffered a little while, will himself perfect you, strengthen you, strengthen you, make you steadfast. 11 To him be power forever and ever! Amen!

In 1 Peter 5:8, Peter warns the church: “Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. The next word is ? “Resist him” (v. 9).

The word resist Satan sounds ridiculous. Because as humans By ourselves, we are less able to resist Satan in our own strength. We can see the example of Eve, the first lady of the Garden of Eden, unable to resist the temptation of the devil.

But the good news is that God sent the Savior Jesus Christ who crushed the head of the serpent on the cross and by this act Jesus gave us the victory over the devil and all his kingdom.

It is written :

"How can anyone enter a strong man's house and plunder his property, without first binding that strong man? Only then will he plunder his house". (Matthew 12:29),

In the Bible we found that:

The disciples Jesus sent saw that the demons were subject to them in his name. Jesus said to them, “I saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning. "Thunderbolt is something strong, powerful and intimidating" So by this story Jesus wants to tell the disciples that the devil is a little strong and we cannot ignore it But Jesus continues his speech by telling the disciples Here , I give you authority… over all the power of the enemy who is the devil.

It is written:

The seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons submit themselves to us in your name. 18Jesus said to them, “I saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning. 19Behold, I have given you power to walk over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing can harm you." (Luke 10:17-19).

The apostle John saw "an angel descending from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, which is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years l preventing him from completely deceiving the nations.

And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit, and holding in his hand a great chain. 2 He seized the dragon, the ancient serpent, which is the devil or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. (Rev. 20:1-2)

How to fight the devil?

As it is written in the Bible: Satan prowls and seeks to devour his victims. But he does it like someone fighting a losing battle. For by faith we will be victorious over all the forces of darkness that oppose us for it is written: The God of peace will soon crush Satan under our feet (Romans 16:20).

It is true that believers or Christians are stronger than Satan and his kingdom. But despite our authority over the devil and his demons, the apostle Peter still tells us to resist the devil and he will flee from us. How can we do it? Or how to resist the devil?

Here are 8 ways to do it:

1. Resist the Devil:

It means renouncing the devil on the day of your baptism. Christian baptism represents a transition from death to life, from darkness to light, from divorce to satan to union with Jesus Christ.

(Romans 6:3-4).

Renouncing the devil means: refusing to recognize the authority of the devil over you or also refusing to submit to his authority any longer.

To renounce the devil It is a revolutionary act, a declaration of war and the beginning of a lifelong resistance. It is a verbal proclamation of categorical refusal to obey the voice of the devil and his demons.

2. Resisting the devil means:

Do not give access to the devil (Eph. 4:27, NIV). The devil looks for opportunities to establish himself in people's lives in hopes of gaining more ground. This is why you must identify and close all open doors through which Satan could gain closer access to your soul and body.

3. Resisting the devil means:

Wear the full armor of God (Eph. 6:10-20). You must know that The devil is cunning, he is a schemer. To oppose him, you must put on the defensive and offensive spiritual weapons of God.

4. Resisting the devil means:

Be sober all the time every day (Sober means watchful) (1 Peter 5:8).

NB: The devil has an easy job in the lives of people who don't have Jesus Christ in their lives, and people who don't watch over their souls and are generally distracted. So be careful and don't get distracted in your life because the devil is looking for the right time to destroy you.

5. Resisting the devil means:

To be a faithful member of the local church To be present at your church so regularly that you may feel uneasy about being absent when you have missed one of the services at your church

It is written:

Let us not forsake our assembly, as is the custom of some; but let us exhort one another, and all the more so as you see the day approaching. (Heb. 10:25)

6. Resisting the devil means:

Live your life according to the Bible. In your home, make the Bible the most important thing, read the Bible. Believe in the Bible. Memorize the Bible and tell others about the Bible.

It is written:

Desire, like children, spiritual and pure milk, that by it you may grow up unto salvation

(1 Peter 2:2)

7. Resisting the devil means:

It means Learn to pray without ceasing against the works of Satan in your life (Jude 1:9). Here is Martin Luther's advice: Since “we are far too weak in the face of the devil and all his… powers arrayed against us… We have nothing else to do on earth but to pray unceasingly against this sworn enemy.

NB: When you pray against the work of the devil in your life, you must pray with insistence and perseverance by the power of the holy spirit and with faith.

It is written:

But even the Archangel Michael, when arguing with the devil over the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander, but said: “May the Lord rebuke you!

(Jude 1:9)

8. Resisting the devil means:

It means Continually believe that Jesus is greater and more powerful than your enemies. You should know that on the cross Christ destroyed Satan (Heb. 2:14). and the believers overcame him "by the blood of the Lamb" shed on Calvary

It is written:

"They overcame him because of the blood of the lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life so much as to fear death."

(Rev. 12:11).

NB: Jacques promises that the devil will flee those who resist him

It is written:

"Submit yourselves therefore to God; resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

(James 4:7)

Remember that the devil is not strong, he only uses these 4 great strategies: the first is fear, the second is intimidation, the third is insistence, the fourth is temptation

1) He wants to put fear on you because fear is the enemy of faith, because he knows that Christians can only win their victory by faith.

2) Second, he wants to try to intimidate you into believing that he is more powerful than your God. In intimidation, he wants to try to put terror in your soul and mind to try to weaken your spirit and weaken your faith in God.

3) Third, it uses insistence to ultimately tire you out or make you think your prayers aren't working or your God isn't doing anything for you.

4) The last and fourth strategy is temptation, he will seek to trick you into disobeying your God so that it becomes a legal doorway to give him the right to take control of your soul and ultimately try to destroy you.

NB: Resist him in all his strategies and he will run away from you.
